Where appropriate, we have adapted classic formulas in response to the changing needs of the modern pharmacy. Alcohol has been an important ingredient for herbal products in both China and the West for centuries. Quality Raw Materials

Far East Summit maintains a long-standing commitment requiring that the highest quality raw materials be used in our products. Most of the Chinese herbs used in production come directly from China. Although there is currently no "official" organic certification process for these botanicals, we purchase the finest grade and freshest available. Traditionally, Chinese herbs have been treated with sulfur to preserve them for warehousing (in some instances, Chinese herbs are even warehoused for up to five years). However, Far East Summit selects only top quality, chemical-free, raw herbs for direct shipment to the United States. This way, we ensure fresh, sulfur-free raw materials for use in our products.
